A cheerful, print-and-play numbers bingo for the first weeks of the school year.

I made this game for my own back-to-school lessons in Geneva, and it has become a first-week staple. It gets young learners recognizing numbers, listening for basic words, and — most importantly — laughing together during those slightly nervous early days when the class is still finding its rhythm.

What Makes This Bingo Different

4 languages in one product.

Number reference calling cards and picture word lists in English, French, German, and Italian (with Swiss German variants) — so the same game works whether you teach ESL, FLE, DaF, or Italian as a foreign language.

Two font styles.

Swiss cursive (écriture cursive suisse) for handwriting alignment, and print for accessibility. Both are included in every language.

26 unique bingo cards.

Enough for a full class, or split across small groups. No two the same.

Back-to-school pictures as “free” squares.

Every card includes 2 picture squares — pencils, backpacks, books, chairs, students, teachers, and 25 more classroom-themed images. These act as free spaces AND as vocabulary reinforcement (see “How to Play” below).
